Radha Krishna Stores

Radha Krishna Stores is located at D.No.5-1, right near the Bridge Center in Ramavarapadu. It’s a convenient spot because everyone has to cross the bridge at some point. Our store is small and packed to the rafters with all sorts of household goods. We’ve got lentils, spices, soaps, and even some hardware items tucked in the back. The space is a bit cramped, and sometimes you have to squeeze past a stack of boxes to get to what you want. I’ve been behind this counter for a long time, watching the traffic go by the bridge. We know who is getting married, who had a new baby, and who is moving away just by the things they buy. The morning light hits the front of the shop and makes everything look a bit bright for an hour. We don’t have a computer system for billing; we just write everything down in a notebook and use a calculator. It’s faster that way for us. Sometimes the bridge gets blocked and people come in just to wait out the traffic and chat. We don't mind the company. The floor is made of old stone and stays relatively cool even when it’s baking outside. We try to keep the popular items within easy reach so we don't have to climb the ladder too often. It’s a friendly little shop, and we just take each day as it comes.
