Pavan General Stores

Pavan General Stores is right on the Main Road in the Main Bazar area of Vijayawada, One Town. If you know that area, you know how crowded it gets with all the rickshaws and people shopping. The shop address is 11-25-137, and we have been here through many rainy seasons and heatwaves. This part of Vijayawada is always buzzing with energy. I sell a lot of everyday items like detergents, batteries, and different kinds of grains. Because we are in the main market, I have to keep a lot of stock ready. The delivery guys come early in the morning, and the whole sidewalk gets blocked with crates and sacks. It takes me an hour just to move everything inside. I don't have a big computer to scan items, I just do the math in my head or use a small calculator. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the gunny bags of rice and sugar. Customers come from all over the town to this market, not just the people living nearby. I see a lot of new faces every day, which is different from the smaller neighborhood shops. It’s a loud place to work, but I like the noise. It means business is happening. I try to keep the prices fair so people come back next time they are in the bazar. It’s just how we do things here.
