Om Anjanya General Store

It's just a small shop here on N R P Road in Gandhi Nagar. Vijayawada gets quite hot, so we usually have the fans going all day. Om Anjanya General Store is tucked into this neighborhood, and we see the same faces most mornings. We stock the usual stuff people need for their houses. The shelves are often a bit crowded because we try to fit everything in, even if it looks a bit messy sometimes. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stand, but the locals know where we are. We open up early and stay till late evening, depending on the weather and how many people are out. Gandhi Nagar is a decent place to be, and there's always something happening on the street outside. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, and we have to stack crates on the floor until we find a spot for them. That’s just part of running a general store, I guess. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure things are in order. The light inside isn't the brightest, but it's enough to see what you're looking for. It’s a practical little spot for the community. We don’t bother with fancy displays or anything like that. Just a regular shop in Vijayawada doing what we do every day. There is always a lot of dust from the road, but we manage.
