Natural Flowers

Our shop is right on the corner of Hindi College Road, where it meets Eluru Road in Vijayawada. We are right by the Srr College Centre. It’s a very busy intersection. There’s always a lot of movement outside, with buses and students walking past. We deal with flowers every single day. The smell in the shop is always quite strong, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We aren't a big boutique with fancy displays. We just have buckets of fresh flowers and some space to tie them together. Most of our work is done in the early morning when the fresh stock comes in. It’s a bit of a mess then, with stems and leaves all over the floor. We just sweep it up and keep going. We don't have a polished sales pitch. If you want flowers, you just come in and pick what looks good. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. The building is old but it stays cool enough for the plants. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a good community. We don't do anything too complicated, just simple bouquets and loose flowers for whatever people need. The floor stays a little damp from the water buckets. We just wear our slippers and handle the orders as they come.
