Being on Petrol Bunk Road means there is always noise from the bikes and trucks. M/S Venkata Sai General Stores is right here at Shop No 107 in the M G W S C Complex. Gollapudi gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running high. We sell the usual stuff you’d expect from a general store. Milk, snacks, soap, and whatever else people realize they forgot to buy at the big market. Vijayawada is a busy place, and this spot stays active because of the petrol pump nearby. People pull over, fill up their tanks, and then walk over to grab a cold drink or a pack of biscuits. The shelves are a bit crowded because we try to fit everything in. Sometimes it’s hard to find where I put the smaller items, but we manage. My family helps out during the busy hours when the school kids come by. It’s a simple setup. No big signs or flashing lights.
