M/S Srinidhi General Stores is located in the One Town area of Vijayawada, specifically on Lingambhotla Vari Street. The address is 11/48/10C/3. If you know One Town, you know how busy and tight the streets can be. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a long time, selling all the usual general merchandise. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find everything from washing soap to pickles. The humidity in Vijayawada can be really tough, so we mostly stay near the fans inside the shop. The street outside is usually full of people, carts, and two-wheelers, so it’s never quiet. We don’t have a fancy storefront or any neon signs. It’s just a shutter and some old wooden shelves packed with goods. We know most of the people on Lingambhotla Vari Street by their first names. They come in for a few things at a time, mostly just what they need for the day's cooking. Getting new stock delivered is always a bit of a headache because the trucks can’t get down the narrow street easily, so we often have to carry the crates ourselves. It’s hard work, but it’s what we’ve always done. We just keep the shop open and serve whoever walks in. It isn't much to look at, but we have what the local families need for their daily lives.
