Madina Store

The Madina Store is situated on Masjid Street in Labdipet. We are right opposite CVV, at shop number 39-3-31. It is a local neighborhood store, so we see the same faces almost every day. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We sell all sorts of things that people might need in a hurry. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes things fall off if you aren't careful. We don't have a lot of space for fancy displays. The front door stays open to let some air in, but that also lets in the street noise. Labdipet is a lively area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We have a small counter where we sit and wait for customers. Sometimes it is very quiet and I just read the newspaper or watch the people walking by outside. Other times, everyone comes in at once and it gets a bit hectic. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us in this single shop. We keep our accounts in a thick ledger book with a red cover. It is the same way we have done it for years. It is a simple way of living and working. We know who likes what and we try to keep those items in stock. It is just a small store on a busy street.
