M/S Sri Krishna Durga Oiles And General Stores

Our store is situated on Pedda Masid Street, very close to Canal Road in Vijayawada. It’s a prime spot for people passing through the 11/59/8 address. We specialize in oils, but we carry all kinds of general store items as well. Selling oil is a bit of a messy business; there’s always a bit of a spill here or there, so the floor needs a lot of cleaning. We have big tins and barrels around, and the smell of different oils is something you get used to after a while. The traffic from Canal Road is always loud, and the air is often filled with the sound of trucks and buses. It can be quite exhausting some days, especially when it’s humid. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who handle the sales and the lifting. We treat our customers like neighbors because most of them are. They come in for their monthly supplies of cooking oil or just to pick up a few household items. We don’t have a fancy display window or anything like that. We just put the goods out where people can see them and help them find what they need. It’s a straightforward life. We open early and close late, making sure we’re there when people need us. It’s a lot of physical work, but it’s what keeps the business going.
