M/S Sri Balaji General Stores

Our shop is located at No. 124 in the New K.G. Market area of Vijayawada. It’s in One Town, which is always buzzing with activity. We handle all sorts of general goods that people need for their daily lives. From washing powders to cooking spices, we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. The market can be a bit overwhelming with all the noise, but we have our own little corner here. I’ve been working behind this counter for quite some time now. Some days are slow, and I just sit and watch the traffic, but most of the time it’s constant. We get a lot of regular families who have been buying from us since the shop first opened. I try to keep the prices fair because everyone knows everyone else around here. The shelves might look a bit packed, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find that one specific item someone asks for, but I usually know where everything is hidden. It is a simple business, really. We get the stock from the wholesalers and get it onto the shelves as fast as we can. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that has been wobbling for years. It’s a real local shop for the people living nearby. We don’t do any advertising; people just know we are here in the middle of the market when they need their supplies. It's just home.
