We’ve been here at Venkatabalaji Towers in Mogalraj Puram for a good bit now. It’s usually pretty busy around this part of Vijayawada, especially with all the shops and people moving around nearby. Most days, we just come in, open up the shutters, and start looking at whatever computer parts need sorting out. The tower itself is easy enough to find once you get into the 40-37-1/A area. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we just take the stairs to get to the office. It gets quite warm in Andhra Pradesh, so we try to keep the fans going all day. There’s no big corporate office here, just a lot of wires and tools scattered around the workbenches. We help people with their screens or software when they walk in. Usually, it’s just locals from the neighborhood. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy signs. Most of the stuff on the shelves is just older stock or things we’re fixing for someone. It’s a bit cramped when more than two people are inside at once, but we make it work. The street noise comes in through the window, but you get used to it after a few months. Coffee breaks happen at the stall downstairs. It’s a simple setup. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the sign near the entrance of the towers. We stay until the evening most days, unless something comes up. It’s just us doing what we know how to do with machines.
