Madhusudhana Stores

Madhusudhana Stores is sitting at Shop No.2 on Nsm Road. We are right in Gandhi Nagar, which is a busy part of Vijayawada. If you know where the Sub Register Office is, we are very close to that. There is always a lot of movement near the office, with people coming and going for their paperwork. The noise from the traffic on Nsm Road is something you just get used to after a week. Our shop is small but we try to keep it filled with everything. I usually spend the quiet hours in the middle of the day rearranging the jars or checking the expiration dates. The area code here is 520003, and it’s a place that feels very lived-in. The front of the store has a small step that everyone trips on if they aren't paying attention. I’ve thought about fixing it, but it’s been that way for years. Gandhi Nagar has a lot of history, and you can see it in the old buildings around us. I drink a lot of tea while I’m working, usually from the stall just down the street. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just run the shop and try to be helpful when someone asks for a specific item. It’s a plain, honest business and that’s plenty for me.
