Lakshmi Narayana General Stores

Our shop is located at 11-55-32/2 on Marvadi Temple Street here in Vijayawada. It’s a busy part of One Town, and we’ve been part of this community for many years. We keep a variety of general stores items, the kind of things that you always seem to run out of at the last minute. The street is often full of the sounds of bells from the nearby temples and the chatter of shoppers. We start our days early to beat the heat, getting the heavy sacks of grains and other supplies moved into place. It’s a simple storefront, nothing too flashy, just a place where you can get what you need. We know most of our customers by name, and they know us too. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back to find a specific item someone is looking for, but we usually have it somewhere. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful about how we stack the crates. It’s a lot of physical work, but it keeps us healthy I suppose. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything like that; we just open up, sell our goods, and close at night. It’s a predictable life and that’s fine with us. We try to stay stocked up on the things that people buy the most. If you’re walking down Marvadi Temple Street, you’ll probably see us there, just doing our daily work.
