Kamala Departmental Stores

Kamala Departmental Stores is located at Dr.No.45/67 on Eluru Road in Arundalpet. It’s a fairly large space, but we still manage to fill it up with all sorts of things. We spend a lot of our time unpacking crates and putting things on the shelves. Eluru Road is usually very busy, so there’s always people walking by. We’ve been here in Arundalpet for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go. Our building is a bit older, and the floor tiles are worn down in the spots where people walk the most. We don't have any automatic doors or high-tech security. It’s just us watching the floor and helping out when someone asks. Sometimes we lose track of where we put things, but we eventually find them. It’s a lot of walking back and forth all day. Our staff is just local folks from around the area. We don't wear uniforms, just our regular clothes. It’s a practical way to run a store. We don't have any big advertisements. We just keep the doors open and wait for people to come in. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We’re just a regular departmental store trying to keep things organized on Eluru Road. It’s a lot of work but it keeps the day moving.
