Our office is right there on Andanamsamjam Road in Vijayawada. It’s a busy spot near Durgaagrharam. We have a lot of drivers coming in and out all day to check their schedules or drop off paperwork. The phones ring quite a bit and it can get a little hectic when everyone is talking at once. We’ve got a couple of benches outside where the guys sit and chat while they wait for their next trip. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we keep track of the cars and the routes. We have a big map on the wall that’s a bit torn at the edges and a whiteboard that always has something rubbed out. Sometimes a car breaks down and we have to scramble to find a replacement, which is always a bit stressful. We just do our best to keep things moving. The tea lady comes by twice a day and that’s usually the highlight for most of us. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. If there’s a protest or a road closure, we hear about it first. It’s a lot of coordination and simple math. We’ve been at 31-8-5 A for a while and don't plan on going anywhere. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We just make sure the keys are in the right hands and the fuel is topped up.
