Durga General Stores

Durga General Stores has been here at Door No 11-63-11 for quite some time now. We are right on Brahnavedi Street in the One Town area of Vijayawada. It is a busy place, especially when the sun is coming up and everyone is trying to get their things for the day before it gets too hot. Our shop is not very big, but we try to keep it full of the things people actually need like soap and oil and different kinds of grains. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and things get a bit messy with boxes in the way, but that is just how it goes here. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names because they live just around the corner or a few streets over. Living and working in 520001 means dealing with the dust and the noise of the traffic, but we are used to it by now. The shelves are old and we have to fix the fan every few months because it starts making a loud clicking sound. It is just a regular shop where you can find what you need without much fuss. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay until late evening, just watching the street life go by. If you are walking down Brahnavedi Street, you will see our sign. It is nothing fancy, just a place for the neighborhood.
