Durga Fancy & General Stores is located at Mig-179/1, right in the heart of Bhavanipuram. Being in HB Colony for so long, we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We carry a mix of things, from basic groceries to bangles and small gift items. That’s why we have "Fancy" in the name. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to fit a lot onto the shelves. Vijayawada heat can be tough, so we keep the fans going all day. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the counter. We know who likes which brand of tea and who always forgets their cloth bag. It’s not a corporate place with uniforms. We just wear what we have and get to work. The address is 520012, but most folks just look for the shop near the corner. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. They don't mind much. It’s a friendly vibe. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where people come to chat and buy their supplies. It’s been our life for years now. We keep the ledger books by hand and make sure everyone gets their change right. It’s honest work in a busy part of town, and we plan to stay here for many more years to come.
