Super Power

Being over at Rishab Towers on Convent Street means there is always something going on outside. Our space is at No. 27, and it’s usually packed with whatever stock we’ve managed to get in that week. The hallway in the building is a bit narrow, but once you get inside our place, there is plenty to look at. We don't really do much in the way of decorations because the products take up all the room. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we keep a ladder handy for when someone needs something from the top row. It’s a busy street, especially when the schools nearby let out and the traffic gets stuck right in front of the towers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just checking the lists to see what’s running low. The desk is always covered in scraps of paper and old pens that barely work. It’s just how we operate here. If you come by in the rainy season, the damp air carries the smell of wet pavement right through the open door. We’ve got a small fan that hums all day long to keep the air moving. Most of our days are spent just keeping things organized and talking to the regulars who know exactly where to find us. It’s a simple setup, really. No fancy signs, just the business at No. 27.
