Anu Hospitals

This location is over on Kovelamudivari Street, specifically at 2(a). It is right behind the Karnati Rama Mohana Rao Municipal High School, so you can always hear the kids playing or the whistle during gym class in the afternoons. Suryarao Pet is a crowded area, and the street outside can get pretty jammed with scooters. We have been here at Anu Hospitals for years, and the building is basically part of the furniture of the neighborhood now. We have several rooms for patients and a small area where families can sit and wait. It isn’t fancy, and the paint might be peeling a bit in the corners, but it is a place where work gets done. The staff is mostly local, so they talk the same way as the patients do, which helps everyone feel a bit less nervous. We deal with all sorts of medical issues throughout the day. The back entrance is usually where the deliveries come in, and there is a small tea stall just a few steps away where the staff goes during their breaks. Working in a hospital near a school means there is a certain rhythm to the day, starting quiet and then getting noisy around lunchtime. We just keep our heads down and focus on the patients. No big speeches or fancy promises, just the daily routine of checking pulses and writing prescriptions. It is a solid, honest place to work and we keep the floors scrubbed.
