Shri Ram Computer Centre

If you have ever been to the New Bus Satand, you have probably passed by us. It is a very loud and busy place to have a shop, but there is always something happening. We are right there where the buses pull in and out. The air is often full of diesel smoke and the sound of conductors shouting destinations. At Shri Ram Computer Centre, we deal with a bit of everything. We do a lot of typing work, photocopies, and computer repairs for people who are just passing through or who work at the stand. The desks are usually covered in papers and various cables. We have a couple of old chairs for customers, but most people are in a hurry to catch their ride. The floor gets dusty really fast because of all the feet coming in from the dirt outside, so we sweep a few times a day. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news, though it’s hard to hear over the bus engines sometimes. It is a tiring place to work because of the noise, but the day goes by quickly. We know the tea seller and the other shop owners nearby. It is a tight-knit group of people working at the bus stand. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The heat can get pretty bad in the middle of the afternoon.
