Nisha Convent School

If you travel out to Village Pipal Kheda in Vidisha, you will find our school. It is a bit away from the main town noise, which makes it feel quite different from the city schools. We are surrounded by more open space and trees. The building is a simple, one-story structure that we try to keep tidy. It gets quite dusty because of the unpaved roads nearby, so there is always a layer of fine dirt on the windowsills. We have a handful of classrooms and they are usually full of students from the local village area. The rooms are basic, with just enough space for the desks and the teacher's chair. In the winter, it can get a bit chilly in the mornings, so the kids usually wear heavy sweaters. We have a small pump for water and a basic playground area. There isn't a lot of traffic out here, so it is mostly quiet except for the birds and the occasional tractor passing by. The staff comes from Vidisha or the nearby villages. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. People find out about us through word of mouth. It is a humble place that serves the people living in Pipal Kheda. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the building stays standing through the monsoon rains.
