The Morden Auto Diesel Works

We spend most of our time here at 34, Sri Sakthi Motor on the Old Bypass Road. It gets pretty loud with the trucks and engines coming in, but that is just how things go. The Morden Auto Diesel Works started because there was a lot of need for diesel engine help in this part of town. We are usually covered in some kind of oil or grease by midday. It’s not a fancy place at all. The floor is stained and we have tools everywhere because we are always in the middle of a job. People know us because we’ve been around the bypass for a while now. Most days it is just us working through the pile of parts and checking injectors or fuel pumps. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoon but the tea stall nearby helps us keep going. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is not under a truck at that moment. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two for a specific part to arrive, but we try to get things moving as fast as we can. It is just honest work with engines and machines. Nothing too complicated, just fixing what is broken so people can get back on the road. We see a lot of the same drivers every month and we know their trucks pretty well by now. It’s just a normal day for us and we like it that way.
