Sri Annai Polytechnic College

Sri Annai Polytechnic College is out in Indira Nagar in the Earayankadu area of Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It is a quiet place where we teach technical stuff to students who mostly come from nearby towns. The college isn't a giant fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly concrete buildings and labs filled with machines and tools that the students use every day. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and making sure the workshops are ready for the practicals. It gets quite hot in Vellore, so the afternoons can be a bit slow, but we keep the fans going. The students usually hang out in the corridors during their breaks. We’ve been here for a while and most of the locals know where the gate is at 632104. It’s a simple life here. We don't have a lot of big meetings or corporate talk. We just focus on showing the kids how to handle the equipment and get through their diploma courses. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the files and student records, but we manage to find what we need. It feels like a community more than a big business. People just come here, do their work, and go home. That is how we have always run things and it seems to work for everyone who comes through our doors over the years. It’s just a regular college in the heart of Vellore for local people.
