Sai Balaji Cafe

Sai Balaji Cafe is located at 82 Mukundarayapuram in Ranipet. We opened this place because we wanted a simple spot for people to get a meal and a drink without any fuss. Ranipet is a busy industrial area, and folks here work hard, so they need a place that’s reliable. We start our day long before the sun comes up, getting the kitchen ready and brewing the first batches. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of scrubbing tables and washing dishes involved. The cafe isn't decorated by some professional; it’s just stuff we’ve put together over time. We don’t have a corporate mission or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food is decent and the coffee is hot. Most of our customers are workers from nearby, and they don't want fluff. They want to eat and get back to their day. We’ve had days where everything goes wrong—the stove acts up or we run out of something important—but we always find a way to keep serving. It’s a small team here, and we’re more like friends than coworkers. We like being part of the community in Mukundarayapuram. It feels good to see the same people every day and know their usual orders without them having to say a word. It keeps us grounded and gives us a reason to keep the doors open every morning.
