MAGHAM CONSTRUCTION (OPC) PRIVATELIMITED is based at No 22 in Balaji Nagar, over in the Brammapuram area of Katpadi Taluk. It’s a quiet enough part of Vellore, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on project plans. We have a small setup here where we manage everything. Running a construction company as a one-person corporation means there is always a lot on my plate. I spend my time going between the office and different sites nearby. Vellore has its own pace, and things usually get done if you keep pushing. I deal with a lot of different vendors for sand, bricks, and steel. Sometimes the prices go up suddenly and that makes things complicated, but we figure it out. The office is usually full of samples of tiles or paint swatches that we’re looking at for various jobs. It’s a hands-on kind of business. I don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk. I just tell people what we can do and then we try to make it happen within the budget. The sun can get really hot out here in Vellore, so we try to get the heavy outdoor work done early in the morning. It’s just about being consistent and showing up every day to make sure the walls are straight and the roof is solid. That’s how we do things here in Balaji Nagar.
