People usually find us easily because we’re right here on Railway Station Road in Ranipet. It’s 2 A /3 if you’re looking at the numbers on the gates. The office isn’t anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done and keep the records straight. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot over the tannery area. We spend a lot of time looking at skins and checking the finish. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s when we take a break. The noise from the station is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. There are stacks of leather samples on the back shelf that have been there for months. It’s mostly just us handling the export side of things, making sure the crates are packed right and the paperwork is sorted. If the fans are working, it’s a good day. We don’t really have a big showroom or anything like that. Most of our time is spent on the phone or walking over to the production area to see how the batches are coming along. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is in Ranipet. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in, even if it brings in the street noise. It's a simple operation here. We just focus on the daily tasks.
