Devi Computers

If you are walking down Narashiman Street in Vellore, you will find Devi Computers on the ground floor at number 5. Our shop is usually a bit cluttered with old monitors, cardboard boxes, and cables tangled up in corners. We have been fixing computers and selling parts here for quite a while. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded when more than three people come in at once. We see a lot of students from the colleges nearby who have broken their laptop screens or spilled something on their keyboards. We try to get their machines back to them as fast as we can, but sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive in the mail. My brother and I run the place and we don't have any fancy titles. We just know how to take things apart and put them back together. The street outside is always busy with people going to the market. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just have to sit in the dark and wait for it to come back on. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here on Narashiman Street. It’s a humble business and we take things one day at a time. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. We just want to fix what’s broken and help people with their tech problems.
