Annai Rice World is tucked into the busy Vellore Bazaar area, specifically at 21 D Mandi Street. If you know the bazaar, you know it’s a maze of shops and people and carts. Our spot is right in the thick of it. We specialize in different kinds of rice, and we have bags piled up everywhere you look. It’s a noisy, lively place to work. From early morning, the street is full of sellers and buyers shouting and haggling. We fit right into that rhythm. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be clever with how we stack our inventory. It can feel a bit overwhelming to someone who isn't used to the bazaar, but we love the energy of it. We talk to all sorts of people every day, from restaurant owners to families looking for their monthly supply. We don't bother with fancy displays or marketing. The rice itself is what matters, and people around here know that. We spend our time checking the stocks and making sure everything is in order. It’s a traditional way of doing business that relies on being present and knowing your product. We might get a bit tired by the end of the day, but being part of the Vellore Bazaar makes it worth it.
