Anandha Modern Rice Mill

Anandha Modern Rice Mill is located on Vellore Road in the Vengikkal area. We have been operating this mill for a while, dealing with the rice that comes in from the fields nearby. It is a loud place when the machines are running, but we are used to it. The dust gets everywhere, so we are always sweeping. We sit right on the main road, so it is easy for the tractors and trucks to pull in. We do not have a fancy front office or anything like that. It is just the milling floor and the storage space for the bags. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and we have to keep everything dry. We have a routine that we follow every morning to get the mill started. It is a local operation and we know most of the people who come by. Vengikkal is a busy spot these days with more traffic on Vellore Road. We just keep our heads down and do the milling. It is not an easy job, but it is what we know. We have been part of this community for years. Most of our day is spent making sure the hulling and polishing goes right. It is just a plain rice mill doing its daily work every single week.
