Smart Systems

Smart Systems is located on the first floor of the M.C. Complex on E.C.R Road. It is a pretty standard commercial building for this area. To get to us, you have to walk past the little shops on the ground floor and head up the concrete stairs. Our office is tucked away at the very end of the hall. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have so many computers and spare parts lying around on every surface. We have got wires running across the floor and shelves filled with old motherboards and dusty monitors. It is definitely not the kind of place where you would expect to see people wearing suits or ties. We usually just wear old t-shirts because we are often crawling under desks to fix wiring or hardware. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when it breaks down, we just open the windows and deal with the heat and the noise from the E.C.R Road traffic. We are not a big tech firm with a fancy lobby or a coffee bar. We are just a small crew that knows how to put things together and fix whatever is broken. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at keyboards. It is a noisy environment with all the cooling fans humming at once. We have been in this complex for a while and we know everyone.
