Indian Navy As Petty Officer

We are located over in Gwalior, specifically at Anand Nagar on Kanch Mil Road. It’s right near Birla Nagar, which is a pretty well-known area in this part of Madhya Pradesh. Working as a Petty Officer for the Indian Navy while being stationed here is a bit different than being at the coast. It’s a lot drier here, that’s for sure. The house is just a regular place where we try to keep things running. Life here is pretty quiet most of the time. We don’t have the big ships nearby, so it’s more about the administrative side of things or whatever assignments come down from the top. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while now. Neighbors know we’re with the navy, and they usually ask us about our travels or the work. It’s a lot of discipline and following the schedule we are given. You wake up early, get the uniform ready, and head out to start the day. Gwalior has its own pace, which is a bit slower than the port cities we are used to. We spend our evenings just relaxing or catching up on the household chores. The 474 003 zip code is home for now. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of work to stay busy with. We like the local food around here, it's a nice change.
