N.G. Machine Tools

You’ll find us out in Waliv Village, over in Vasai East. Our unit, B-17, is part of the Star Industrial Estate, right near the Hanuman Mandir on Naikpada Road. It’s a busy area, and the sound of the temple bells sometimes mixes with the noise of our machines. We work primarily with machine tools, so there’s always a bit of oil on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. The workshop isn't air-conditioned, so we keep the big shutters open to get whatever breeze comes through. We’ve been here for several years now, and the walls are starting to show the age of the place with all the grease and soot. Most of our day is spent at the lathes or milling machines, making parts or fixing up tools that have seen better days. It’s hard work on your feet, and by the time four o’clock rolls around, everyone is ready for a break. We usually gather near the front for a bit of water and a chat before finishing the last few jobs. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person; we just do what needs to be done for the people who come to our door. Dealing with heavy machinery means things break down sometimes, and we just have to get in there and fix it. It’s a simple life of grease, metal, and long days in the industrial estate.
