I- TEC

I've been working here at I- TEC for a while now. We’re tucked away in Sunshine Heights, right in Unit 2 of building number 3. If you know the Waliv Fata area in Vasai East, you know it’s always busy. We are pretty close to the Dhuri Industrial Estate, so there’s a lot of movement around here throughout the day. The shop floor gets pretty noisy with the machines running, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of us get here early to beat the traffic because the roads can be a bit of a mess sometimes. We spend most of our time just focusing on the jobs we have on hand. It’s a practical space, nothing fancy, with tools and parts scattered where they need to be. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets to be a bit much, but we just keep the fans going and get through the list. It’s mostly just a group of us who have been doing this for years, so we know the rhythms of the place. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby or bring stuff from home. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a solid place where we show up, do the work, and head home to our families. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big order to get out, but we just manage it one step at a time.
