Karia Brothers

Karia Brothers is located in units 7 and 8 of the Sheetal Industrial Complex No. 1. We are right next to the Vardhaman Industrial Estate in the village of Gokhiware, which is in Vasai East. Being in an industrial complex means there is always the sound of metal clanging or engines running somewhere nearby. Our units are mostly used for storage and a bit of assembly work. It’s a family business, so it’s usually just the brothers and a couple of helpers around. The space is a bit tight with all the crates and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We have to be careful how we move the forklift so we don't bump into anything. Vasai is a busy area and getting here can be a struggle if you're caught in the afternoon traffic. We’ve been in this complex for a long time now and we know most of the other business owners around us. We often borrow tools from each other or help out when someone has a heavy load. Our office is just a corner of the warehouse with a couple of chairs and a desk that has seen better days. We don’t bother with fancy signs or advertisements. Most people hear about us from someone else in the estate. It’s just honest work in a noisy part of town. We keep the lights on late sometimes when a big order needs to go out, but mostly we stick to a regular schedule. The coffee machine in the break area is old and loud, but it makes a decent cup.
