Our place, Venugopal Fruit Processing Industries, is located at 1-2-27 in Kattamanchi. It is a busy part of town to be in. You can usually tell where we are by the smell of whatever fruit we are working with on that particular day. It involves a lot of manual labor. We have people coming and going through the gates all the time. The building is a bit older and has seen a lot of use over the years. We have various machines for the processing, and they can be quite loud when they are all running. Kattamanchi is where we have always been located. We do not see any reason to move elsewhere. The address 1-2-27 is well known to the local farmers who bring their produce to us. We have had some of the same workers for many years now. They know the rhythm of the place perfectly. It is not a corporate factory. It feels more like a large workshop to us. We wear boots and heavy aprons most of the day. It gets a bit sticky sometimes, especially when the heat is high in the summer. We just wash down the floors at the end of every shift. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our processing and keep the business steady. People around here know us by name. We just go about our business.
