Super Mart

Located at S 5/38-4 in Orderly Bazar, Varanasi, our shop is right near the Mahaveer Mandir. Even though the name is Super Mart, we are still very much a local store at heart. Being near the Mahaveer Mandir Road means we see a lot of people every day, especially during the festivals and on Tuesdays. The shop is packed with all sorts of things, from snacks and drinks to cleaning supplies and some basic clothing items. It’s a bit chaotic inside because we try to stock so much in a limited space. The noise from the temple bells and the traffic in Orderly Bazar is something we have just gotten used to over time. We have a couple of refrigerators that stay busy keeping water and soda cold for the pilgrims and locals. The floor is tiled but has some chips here and there from moving heavy crates around. We spend our mornings checking the expiry dates on the milk and curd packets. It’s a busy life in Varanasi, and the shop is usually full of chatter from people stopping by. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, just the physical store where we stand for ten or twelve hours a day. It’s a simple business of providing what the neighborhood needs and keeping the shelves as full as possible. Sometimes the monkeys from the temple area try to sneak in and grab a packet of chips.
