We are based at House No.B 31/35 in the 1-DA Sankat Mochan Colony, which is in the Lanka area of Varanasi. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially with the temple nearby. Soccrates Infradevelopers is just a group of us who work on building projects and land development around here. Varanasi is a unique place to work because the streets are so narrow and the city is so old. Every project has its own set of problems, usually involving how to get materials to the site without blocking the whole road. Our office is a simple space where we keep our files and meet with clients. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We rely on the fact that we’ve been in Varanasi for a long time and people know we do what we say we’re going to do. The work is often hot and dusty, and the monsoon rains can really slow things down, but we just keep at it. We focus on things like small housing developments and helping people navigate the local building rules. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordination, but it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to sound like a big corporate firm; we’re just local people who know how to build things in this city. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll probably see us around.
