Our office isn't much to look at; it’s just a room where we sit and talk to people about their jobs and future plans. We spend a lot of time looking at resumes and talking to different companies about what they are looking for. Because we are at Iitbhu, we see a lot of young people who are just starting out and are quite nervous about what comes next. We don’t use a lot of fancy career jargon. We just try to give practical advice based on what we see in the market. The building is old and has that specific academic smell of paper and dust. Our desks are usually covered in files and folders. It’s a busy environment, especially during the placement seasons when everyone is in a hurry.
