We've been doing building work for a while now around Rustampur. It's just a small office really, at House No. 244. My cousin and I started Shristi Infra Builders & Developers Private Limited because there was a lot of new work happening in the neighborhood. We handle the paperwork and the actual construction stuff. Sometimes the weather gets in the way of the schedule, but that's how it goes in this business. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. Just some tools, a few good trucks, and people who know how to lay bricks and pour concrete. It gets dusty and loud, but seeing a house actually go up from nothing is still something. We spend most of our days out on site rather than sitting behind a desk. Rustampur is home for us, so we try to keep things straightforward with the neighbors. If you walk by our place, you might see us loading up supplies or arguing about where to put a pile of gravel. It isn't always pretty work, and there are long days where everything seems to go wrong with the supply chain, but we manage. We just keep at it, one brick at a time, making sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak. The traffic around here can be a real pain when moving machinery, but we make it work somehow.
