Shivangi Hospital

Shivangi Hospital is located along the Tilmapur Ghazipur Road in Barla. Being on a main road like that means we see a lot of different people. It is a bit of a landmark for those driving between the towns. The building stands out among the trees and the smaller shops nearby. Inside, it is pretty much what you would expect from a hospital in this area. We have our wards and the small office where all the records are kept in big steel cupboards. It gets quite busy when the buses stop nearby. The staff here lives close by, so we all know the local talk and what is happening in Barla. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the beds are ready for the next person. It is a constant cycle of people coming and going. The waiting room has a TV that is usually playing the news or some old movie to keep people occupied. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy scripts for us. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the work is done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the backup, which is just part of living and working here. It is a practical place, built for the community along Ghazipur Road, and we just keep doing our daily tasks without much thought for anything else. We are just a hospital in Barla.
