Sea Shain

Sea Shain is located in the Shantman Complex on Soniya Road. This is in the Sigra area of Varanasi. The address is C-14/172A-K. We are inside the complex which can be a bit of a maze if you haven't been here before. Our shop isn't massive but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got the usual mirrors and chairs for the customers. Since we are in Sigra, it can get very busy outside on the main road, but inside the complex, it’s a little more shielded from the dust. We start the day by checking our supplies and making sure everything is in its place. We do a lot of basic hair work and other small things. The light in the shop is mostly from the overhead tubes. We have a small bench for people to sit on if they are waiting. Varanasi is a place where things move at their own pace and we are part of that. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights or anything like that. Just a simple name on the door. Most of our customers are people who live or work nearby in Sigra. They come in for a quick service and a bit of a chat. We keep things simple and just focus on the task in front of us. It’s a quiet life running a shop in this part of the city. We sweep the floor a lot because of all the hair. It is just a regular business and we hope people find what they need.
