Rajputana Genral Store

Our shop is situated in Saket Nagar, Varanasi, and we are quite close to the Sankatmochan Mandir. This means we get a mix of local residents and people passing by, especially on the busy temple days. We sell general items that people might need, like snacks, drinks, and some basic groceries. The store is a very simple setup with a few glass cases and plenty of shelves. It gets quite crowded in here sometimes, especially when people are in a hurry to get to the temple. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big social media presence. Most people just find us because we are in a convenient spot. We do all the work ourselves, including picking up stock from the wholesalers and keeping the place tidy. Varanasi is a very busy place, and being near such a famous temple keeps us on our feet. We don't have any big mission statements. We just try to keep the shelves full of things people actually want to buy. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to wait a few days for the next delivery. That’s just part of the business. We enjoy talking to the different people who come through the door, whether they are locals or pilgrims from far away. It’s a modest business and we aren't looking to change much about it. We just open up every day and do our best to serve whoever stops by.
