Our office is tucked away in Shivpur, Varanasi, over at Sh-2/8-A-R-3. It’s a bit of a different pace being here compared to the big cities, but the work we do as structural engineers is just as tough. We work on a lot of infrastructure projects that help people get from one place to another. It’s mostly about bridges, roads, and large buildings. We’ve got a small team here who really knows their stuff when it comes to construction. It’s not always pretty, there’s a lot of mud and dust involved when we’re out on the sites. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks; we’re more concerned with whether the steel is set right or if the concrete is curing properly. Varanasi is an old city, so sometimes we run into unexpected things when we start digging. It keeps things interesting, to say the least. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the engineering. There’s no need for big corporate speeches here. We just show up, do the work, and deal with whatever problems pop up that day. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather doesn’t cooperate, but we find a way to get it finished. We’ve been part of this community for a while now and we like being based here in Shivpur. It feels more like a family than a big company. Everyone knows everyone else, which makes things easier when we need a hand on a project.
