Shop No-53/56/144 is our little corner of Ausanganj. Kabir Nagar Churaha is right there, which is a major junction in Jaitpura. Constant noise from the traffic is something we have just learned to ignore over time. Items are stacked everywhere because the shop is quite small for everything we keep. Wooden counters and old shelves hold all the things we've gathered to sell. Family-run for many years, this place has seen a lot of history. Regular faces from the neighborhood make the days go by faster. Saying hello to people as they pass by is a big part of the job. Uneven floors and old walls give the shop a bit of a worn-in feel. Advertisements aren't something we use, as word of mouth is enough for us. Clicking fans are the only thing keeping us cool when the summer heat hits hard. Simple business is all we know, and we don't try to make it more complicated. No big speeches or fancy missions are needed to run a shop like this. We just open up in the morning and do our best until it's time to close. It’s a busy life, but it’s ours, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time.
