M/S PRAKASH IRON WORKS

So we’re over here at C-30/35, D-2 Kh in the Maldahiya area. If you know the neighborhood, it’s mostly busy shops and people moving around all day. M/S PRAKASH IRON WORKS isn't a fancy place with glass windows or anything like that. It’s a workshop where we handle a lot of iron. Most days start early when the first truck arrives or someone comes in needing a frame fixed. The smell of metal and the sound of the cutters is just how it is here. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. The walls are a bit dusty and we have tools scattered on the benches, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the rain hits the roof so loud we can’t hear each other talk, but the work doesn’t stop. We don’t have a big office or a reception desk. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the back with a welder or a hammer. We take the iron, we cut it to the size needed, and we put it together. It’s heavy work and your hands get dirty five minutes after starting. People from around the area know the address. We just focus on getting the pieces done so they can be picked up. There’s no big secret to it, just a lot of measuring and making sure the joints are solid before they leave the shop. We’ve had the same neighbors for years and they’re used to our noise by now.
