We run Maticotech Infrastructure Privatelimited from Plot No. 12 in the Mahabir Nagar Colony. This is in the Vinayaka area of Varanasi, with the 221010 pin code. Varanasi is an old, crowded city, and doing infrastructure work here has its own set of challenges. The streets can be narrow and getting equipment through Mahabir Nagar is sometimes a real headache. We spend a lot of time on the ground, literally. Whether it’s looking at pipes or checking on road work, it’s mostly outdoor stuff. We aren’t the type to sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Our team is used to the local climate and the way things move a bit slower during the festivals. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures. We just talk to people face-to-face and get the job done. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a concrete pour or to wait for a delivery that got stuck in traffic. It’s just the way things are in Varanasi. We’ve been at this address for a while and most of the locals know us by now. We focus on the basics of infrastructure, making sure the things people rely on are actually built right. It’s not always pretty, and there is a lot of sweat involved, but it is what we know how to do. We just take it one day at a time.
