Manish Dental Clinic

Manish Dental Clinic is at A-40/18 in the Golghar area. Golghar is a pretty well-known part of town, so finding us isn’t too hard for most people. The clinic is in an older building, and the stairs up to our floor are a bit steep and narrow. We spend a lot of time in the dental chairs or standing over the sinks. The smell of the clinic is that typical mix of soap and dental supplies that you find in any dentist's office. We have a small window in the back that lets in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead tubes to see what we are doing. The floor is covered in linoleum that has seen better days, but it's clean and we mop it every night. We keep our tools in metal trays and make sure everything is put back in its place. The staff here consists of just a few of us, and we spend the day talking to people while they sit in the chair. It’s funny how people get quiet when they come to a dental clinic, so we try to talk about the weather or the local news to keep things feeling normal. Outside, the Golghar traffic is always moving, and we can hear the muffled sounds of the market stalls below us. We take our breaks one by one so someone is always at the desk to answer the phone. It’s just a small, busy office.
