Maihar Contractors Private Limited is run out of House No 5/1 in Jaliali Patti. Bhullanpur is where we call home, and it’s a typical local neighborhood. The business is basically integrated into the daily life of the area. We aren't tucked away in some glass office building; we are right here in the community. Most of our mornings are spent organizing the crew and making sure the trucks are loaded with the right materials. Being a contractor involves a lot of moving parts, and sometimes it feels like we are just trying to keep everything from falling apart, but we manage. People walk by the house and see us working, and that's how we get most of our connections. It’s a hands-on type of business. My desk is usually a mess of invoices and scraps of paper with measurements written on them. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. We just do the work that comes our way and hope the weather stays clear so we can finish on time. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise if we start too early, so we try to be mindful of that. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows each other’s business. We focus on being practical and getting the construction done without making a big production out of it. It’s just how we operate in Bhullanpur. We don't talk much, we just get on with the job we were hired for.
