Our place is hidden away a bit in Panchsheel Colony, right behind Galaxy Hospital in Mahmoorganj. If you’re looking for D63/31 A8, you have to watch for the small turn after the hospital gate. It’s a quiet residential street, so we try not to make too much noise. We have a small room where the supervisors meet to go over the schedules. There are always stacks of uniforms waiting to be picked up or dropped off. The walls are painted a light blue that’s starting to peel near the ceiling. We have a small courtyard out back where we keep the extra equipment. It isn't a very large office, but it works for what we need. Most of our staff are out at their posts anyway, so it’s usually just two or three of us here doing the admin work. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking in on people. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark at the delivery bikes, which makes it hard to hear. We have an old clock on the wall that runs five minutes fast, but we’ve never bothered to fix it. We just keep our logs in big plastic binders. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any big flashy presentations. We just stay here and manage the daily tasks that come our way. We stay open late because the work doesn't really have a closing time, though the office usually clears out by eight.
