Amar Kumar & Brothers Co. is based out in Anpara. It’s a small place and everyone pretty much knows everyone else. We’ve been running this for a long time as a family. The office is nothing special, just a room with some old wooden furniture and a lot of ledgers. We haven’t really moved over to all that digital stuff completely yet. We still like writing things down in books. It feels more real that way. Working with your brothers can be a challenge sometimes because we tend to argue about small things, like who forgot to lock the door or whose turn it is to get the water. But in the end, we get the work done. Anpara is a quiet town, and we like the slow pace. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just try to provide whatever it is our customers need that day. Whether it's supplies or some kind of service, we just handle it. People stop by the office just to say hello or to ask for advice on something. We don't charge for that; it's just how things are done here. It’s a simple business built on years of just showing up and doing what’s expected. We don't plan on changing much. If it’s worked for this long, there’s no reason to fix it.
