Lavanya Men

We are located at Mint House on Cantt Road in Nadesar, over here in Varanasi. Most people use the Kalika Hotel as a landmark to find us. Lavanya Men is just a straightforward place for guys who need a haircut. We’ve been in this part of Varanasi for a while. The shop is small but we keep it going every day from morning until late evening. It’s usually me and another guy working the chairs. We get a mix of people—some students, some office workers, and even some tourists who are staying nearby. It’s a bit of a busy street, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of clippers and the occasional chatter. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most people find us just by walking past or because a friend told them about us. We do shaves, hair cuts, and sometimes a head massage if someone asks for it. It’s simple work, but we take it seriously. We like seeing someone walk out looking a bit sharper than when they walked in. The equipment isn’t brand new, but it’s well-maintained and does the job. It’s just a regular local business. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just show up, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to walk through the door. Usually, we are there until the sun goes down and the street gets a bit quieter.
